Emily Rementizo

Medical Condition: Mature Cataract
Appeal: Pre- and Post-Laboratory Expenses
Emily used to work as a cook in a school canteen; unfortunately, the canteen was closed due to absence of face-to-face classes, rendering her jobless in this most challenging time. What makes this harder for her is that she has been experiencing blurry vision in her right eye sometime beginning August 2020 — a condition that was confirmed to be a mature cataract.

Gloria Viray 

Medical Condition: Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Appeal: CT Scan, Chemotherapy, and Medical and Laboratory Expenses
Sometime in 2018, Gloria experienced a swollen lymph gland on her left side of her neck. Several months later, Gloria started to feel a small mass the size of a “jolen” and rapidly spread in her armpit and groin area.

Lucas Leron

​Medical Condition: Vascular Malformation of the Tongue
Appeal: MRI & MRA for the head and neck, sedation, and swab test
In May 2019, his family noticed that Lucas’s tongue seemed larger than usual and changed to a birthmark-like color and spongy in form.
Rovie Ann, her mother, consulted with a physician online, who then gave Lucas the initial diagnosis of Vascular Malformation of the tongue.

Corrine Fernando 

​Medical Condition: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Appeal: Maintenance medication
​Corrine was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in October 2019 when her tests at the Philippine Children's Medical Center revealed that her CBC, hemoglobin, and platelet counts have dropped. The doctors said that Corrine will have to undergo 4 years of medication and treatment and right now, she is currently on maintenance.

Yagah Igbaras 

​Medical Condition: Musculoskeletal strain, lumbar area
Appeal: MRI with contrast
Yagah started work as domestic helper in Saudi as domestic helper in November 2017. After almost a year, she was transferred to a different employer - as a baker, along with three other Pinoy workers, making roughly 3,000 pieces of bread in a day. In August 2018, Yagah felt that the hard labor at the bakeshop was taking its toll on her; she felt a tingling pain in all the nerves in her body. Despite the physical pain she was in, her employer would not believe she was sick and ordered her to continue working for at least a year.

Althea Hermosilla

Medical Condition: Hirschsprung's Disease
Appeal: 
Laboratory, Pre- and Post-Operational Expenses 
Althea Hormosilla is a 5-year-old girl from Bulacan who has been diagnosed with Hirschprung Disease and in colostomy for around five (5) years. Through the years, Lanie, her mother, has only noted three (3) different occasions where Althea was able to have bowel movement through her anus – once in August 2019, another in November 2020 and once in the first week of February 2021.

Jamaila Tejano

​​Medical Condition:  Renal Laceration Grade III
Appeal: CT Scan and medication
While playing with friends, Jamaila climbed up the roof of a tricycle parked in front of their home but was out of balance and fell hard on her side, hitting a pipe. Later that night, Jamaila’s mother noticed some blood in her urine. She was then brought to a nearby hospital and was eventually diagnosed with Renal Laceration Grade III. In 3 months time, Jamaila has to undergo a CT scan (which costs P11,000+) to determine whether she needs to undergo operation.

Jayco Jamora

​​Medical Condition: Thoracolumbar scoliosis
Appeal: Implants for corrective surgery and bags of blood
Born in Catanuan, Quezon province, Jayco Jamora used to work as a houseboy for a family in Quezon City earning P6,000.00 monthly. In 2020, he had to quit his job as his scoliosis worsened.

He was only 16 years old when he started to experience back pain and discomfort. His appearance slowly changed, shoulders became uneven and his ribs became more prominent.

Appeal: Ultrasound and 2D Echo
Noong siya'y mag 4 na buwan pa lamang, unti-unting nawalan ng ganang kumain si Andrea at nabawasan din ng timbang. Akala ng ibang doktor noong una ay allergic lamang si Andrea sa gatas, ngunit nadiskubre din makalipas ng ilang bisita sa iba't ibang ospital na may 'imperforate anus with fistula' ang sanggol, isang kakaibang abnormalidad sa tumbong o anus.

Appeal: CT Scan and Biopsy
Pitong taon na ang nakalipas nang makita ni Nanay Emelynda, ina ni Allen, ang maliit na bukol sa kaliwang panga. ng kanyang anak. Pumunta sila sa iba't ibang hospital upang ipasuri ang kanyang kondisyon, ngunit hindi natuloy ang karamihan sa mga ito dahil sa kakulangang pinansyal. Dahil rito, unti-unting lumala ang kondisyon ni Allen hanggang sa lumaki ang kanyang bukol at maapektuhan ang kanyang pagsasalita.

Si baby Jayden Gipaya ay ang ipinanganak na malusog bago magsimula ang lockdown sa bansa. Pagkatapos ng ilang buwan, napansin ng kanyang mga magulang na siya'y madaling manghina at nawalan na ng gana para sa gatas at tubig. Nang dalhin siya sa ospital, napag-alaman na ang kanyang hemoglobin count ay nasa 2gm/dL na lamang.

Appeal: Titanium and operation expenses
Si KC May Mangahas ay isang 25-taong-gulang na puno ng pangarap para sa kanyang mga mahal sa buhay.

​Bilang ang kanyang mga kapatid ay nagkaroon na ng kani-kanilang mga sariling pamilya, si KC na ang sumusuporta sa kanyang pamilya sa murang edad. Sa kasamaang palad, kung kailan kakasimula pa lamang niyang magtaguyod para sa kanyang pamilya, siya'y nagkaroon ng brain tumor.

​​Medical Condition: Kasabach Meritt Syndrome
Appeal: Chemotherapy medication
​Si John Andrei Lacap ay batang taga-San Pablo, Laguna na may pambihirang sakit sa puso na tinatawag na Kasabach Meritt Syndrome.
2016 pa lang ay nagpapachemotherapy na siya upang mabawasan ang tumor sa kanyang kanang binti. Sa kasamaang palad, naudlot nang naudlot ang kanyang surgery noong 2020 kaya't lumaki muli ang kanyang tumor.

​​Medical Condition: Complete Intestinal Obstruction secondary to Inguinal Mass
Appeal: CT Scan
Si Manong Alfredo ay haligi ng tahanan na may dalawang anak. Siya ay nagtatatrabaho noon bilang mananahi na may kitang P200/araw, ngunit kinailangan niyang tumigil nang magsimulang manakit nang husto ang kanyang tiyan simula Mayo 2020. Magmula noon, hindi na niya naitataguyod ang kanyang pamilya at ito'y lubos na ikinalulungkot niya, lalo't naapektuhan ang kanyang dalawang anak.

​​Medical Condition: Tibia Fracture
Appeal: Steel plate
Noong Pebrero 2018, habang siya'y naglalaro sa labas, siya'y tumakbo at nahulog sa kanal na nagdulot ng pagkakabali ng kanyang kaliwang 'tibia' o lulod. Dahil sa kalayuan ng ospital at kakulangan sa panggastos, sinubukan ng mga magulang ni Julia na ipagamot ang kanilang anak sa albularyo. Mahigit tatlong buwan ang lumipas at hindi pa rin makalakad si Julia.
