As of 20 December 2011, we have completed the 715 USD for Angela's operation. We received 100 USD from various donors (bank) and 615 USD via PayPal (the donor wants to remain anonymous). Thanks to all those who joined us in this campaign by sharing on Facebook!

We are grateful for the donation of 285.00 US dollars specifically allotted to Michiko Andrade who is suffering from Hirschprung’s Disease. The donation received via PayPal is timely as Michiko is scheduled for operation this December 2011. This holiday season will probably be one of the best for Michiko and her family.

The amount will be used in pre-operation / diagnostic procedures. Thanks to the donor, who requested anonymity, for his and his family's continued support to the cause of Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko.

We were able to collect a few dollars for Nathaniel.

But it's good to know that we have allies and partners in helping poor people. Thanks to the Tzu Chi Foundation for covering half the cost of Nathaniel's operation.

Thanks also to some bank donors who have allotted their donations for Nathaniel. The operation was successfully done in November 2011.

We found Carlo's hero.

Less than one week after the Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation launched the campaign to raise funds for this boy from Guinobatan, Albay, we found a hero. Or the hero found the boy.

Now that Carlo has found his hero, he will now have a chance to live a normal life; a chance of enjoying a happy childhood—like the one we once had.

*Recent diagnostic procedures indicated that Carlo has fluid in his head. This requires VP shunting before the actual operation of Carlo's meningocele. A donor has committed a VP shunt which will allow for the operation very soon!
